What It Is

Every workspace includes an AI assistant that knows your actual setup: your streams, playlists, media library, connected channels, and analytics. Open it from AI Assistant in the sidebar and ask in plain language.

It is not a generic chatbot. When you ask "is everything healthy?", it looks at your real streams. When you ask "when do my viewers watch?", it reads your own viewer data. When it answers a how-to question, it cites the same help articles you are reading now.

What You Can Ask

  • Status and health. "What is running right now?" "Why does my YouTube target show an error?"

  • Audience questions. "When do my viewers actually watch?" "Which videos earn the most watch time?"

  • YouTube monetization. "Help me reach 4,000 watch hours." The assistant checks the things that quietly cost you qualified hours: unlisted broadcast archives, streams that run past YouTube's archive limit, content that is not in your library yet.

  • How-to questions. "How do I add a fallback to my calendar?" It answers from the product documentation instead of guessing.

What It Can Do

The assistant can act, not just answer: import videos, reorder playlists, push changes to a live stream, create and schedule broadcasts, set rotation policies, start and stop streams.

Every change shows you an approval card first: what will change, in one sentence. Nothing runs until you press Approve. Declining costs nothing, and approving an action is never charged as a message. The assistant sees your workspace through the same permissions you have, and each conversation stays inside your workspace.

Messages and the Monthly Allowance

One question is one message, no matter how many lookups the assistant makes to answer it. Approving or declining an action belongs to the same message, so a diagnosis that ends in three approvals still costs what the question cost.

Plan

The allowance is per workspace and resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). When it runs out, existing conversations stay readable and new messages wait for the reset or a plan upgrade. You can see messages used and actions completed anytime under Settings, then Usage, and on the assistant page itself.

Good to Know

  • The assistant can make mistakes. It states what it found and where the data came from, and official platform numbers (like YouTube monetization progress) live with the platform, not here.

  • It never fakes engagement and will not help with view exchanges or bots. It optimizes what real viewers watch.

  • Actions it takes are recorded in your workspace audit trail, and most are reversible from there.

Start with something concrete: "What is running right now, and is everything healthy?"
