playout.video Is Now in ChatGPT

What's New

playout.video is now in the ChatGPT plugin directory. Connect it once, and you can run your streams from ChatGPT: ask which streams are live, set up a 24/7 YouTube stream from your videos, change what is on air, or put shows on a weekly calendar.

It uses the same tools as the AI Assistant inside playout.video, so ChatGPT answers from your real streams, playlists and channels.

How to Connect

Open playout.video in ChatGPT, or search for playout.video under Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar.
Click Connect, sign in to playout.video, choose a workspace if you have more than one, and click Approve.
Mention @playout.video in a chat and ask.

New to playout.video? You can create a free account while you connect: sign in with your email, set up your workspace in three quick steps, and you go straight on to approve the connection.

What It Can Do

See which streams are live and what they are playing.
Start and stop streams. ChatGPT asks you to confirm every start and stop.
Build 24/7 streams from your own videos, and import videos from a link.
Edit playlists and change what is on air.
Send a stream to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, LinkedIn, Kick or any RTMP server.
Schedule shows on a weekly calendar in your time zone.
Show the days and hours your viewers watch.
Answer how-to questions from the help center.

It also comes with guided workflows for common jobs, like a 24/7 YouTube stream setup, a stream health check and a weekly show schedule.

Plans

The plugin works on every playout.video plan, including Free, and it does not use your AI Assistant messages. Everything it does follows your plan, the same as when you do it yourself.

Claude and Other AI Apps
