Playlist Shuffle Mode
Shuffle your playlist items automatically after each loop pass. Keep your 24/7 stream fresh without manually reordering content.
What's New
A new Shuffle toggle in the playlist panel that automatically reshuffles your playlist items after each loop pass.
Shuffle Mode
Running the same playlist on loop means returning viewers see the same sequence every time. Shuffle mode fixes that by randomizing the order of your playlist items each time the playlist loops back to the beginning.
Toggle shuffle on and your stream keeps playing the same content, just in a different order every loop. Toggle it off and your playlist keeps the existing sequence.
How It Works
Open your stream's Playlist panel
Click the Shuffle button in the playlist toolbar
The button turns green when shuffle is active
Your playlist reshuffles automatically at the end of each loop pass
Shuffle applies in real time: if your stream is already running, the next loop pass will play in a new random order. No restart needed.
Why It Matters
Returning viewers see a different sequence each time, keeping your stream engaging
Music and lo-fi channels benefit from variety without manually curating multiple playlists
Kids channels keep content feeling fresh across long viewing sessions
Any 24/7 stream avoids the "same intro every hour" problem
Works With Your Existing Setup
Shuffle works alongside all existing playlist features:
Loop mode: shuffle triggers a new order at each loop boundary
Jingles: jingle items shuffle with the rest of the playlist
Inline switching: shuffle state is preserved when returning from an inline playlist
Live editing: enable or disable shuffle while your stream is running
Getting Started
Open any stream's playlist panel and look for the shuffle icon in the toolbar. One click to enable, one click to disable.
