Play Now: Jump to Any Calendar Entry Live
Right-click any block on the Calendar and choose "Play now" to jump your live stream straight to that content. Useful for breaking news, last-minute swaps, and live show overrides.
What's New
Right-click any block on the Calendar and choose Play now. Your live stream jumps to that block's content, immediately, without restarting.
It's the fastest way to override your schedule when something needs to go live right now.
Why It Matters
Most of the time, your scheduled stream runs itself. But sometimes:
A news event breaks and you want to cut to a special segment
A guest cancels and you want to swap to a different block
You decide to test a block live mid-day
You want to skip ahead to the next show because the current block isn't landing
Audience demand pushes you to play a specific piece of content right now
Play now is for these moments.
How It Works
Open your Scheduled Stream's Calendar
Right-click any block (or use the block's context menu)
Choose Play now
The block becomes active immediately. The previous content ends. Your live stream is now playing the new block.
The original block's scheduled time is preserved, recurring blocks keep their schedule. Only the current playback is overridden.
What Happens to the Schedule
When the Play now block ends, the calendar resumes its normal schedule from whatever block is current at that point in time.
For example:
Original schedule: Block A (1pm–2pm), Block B (2pm–3pm), Block C (3pm–4pm)
At 1:30pm you Play now → Block C
Block C plays through to its content end (or until 4pm if Loop is set)
After Block C, the calendar resumes, Block C's slot was 3pm–4pm, so the next active block is whatever is scheduled after 4pm
This means you can use Play now without permanently disrupting your schedule.
Try It
Open any Scheduled Stream Calendar and right-click a block. Look for Play now in the context menu.
